Cooking Pot with Grapes

Cooking Pot with Grapes

An antique terracotta cooking pot, decorated with grapes. The wide neck means it would make a great planter.

This type of pot was traditionally used for cooking sarmale - a Romanian dish of braised meatballs wrapped in cabbage leaves.

Please note the pot has a crack, visible in the photographs.

It measures 25 x 22 x 29 cm.
