An antique farmhouse table from rural Romania. This so-called ‘Batchelor’s table’ would have been the only table in a single person dwelling and would have been used for everything from chopping vegetables to writing letters. It’s long and varied history can be seen in the scarred surface, worn to a beautiful patina.
This petit table would make an excellent desk. The legs can be removed for ease of storage; we would recommend gluing them in place to ensure stability.
